This fall I am crushing Red(ish). The color red has so many variations, from apple to maroon to oxblood and I seem to find myself loving them all. One of the great things about the variations of red is that since there are so many options, there is at least one color that will work fr everyone. Below you will find my top 5 Red(ish) Must Have Items for FW/14.
First up on the list is nail polish. I use to be the girl that would go to the shop and get acrylics every two weeks. In college one would not see me without seeing a fresh full set. Now that real life has set in and bills are in full effect, I have grown accustom to doing my own mani/pedi’s from the comforts of my own home. About a week back on one of my Target runs, I came across a polish that I just couldn’t pass up, Berry Naughty by Essie. I love the fact that it dries extremely fast and it only takes about one coat to achieve a nice rich color (although I usually put on two, plus a clear topcoat as well). This color looks great with gold, navy and even brown.
Next on the list are these to-die-for Topshop beauties. These box leather ghillie skinny heel courts with wrap around fastening are 100% Leather and 100% fabulous. I would rock these babies with a skinny leg jean and camel or plaid blazer. This shoe is a statement piece that can make any outfit.
I am in LOVE with this boxed scarf from Zara. The pops of oxblood paired with the deep hues of blue play together beautifully, and this coat scarf is a perfect accessory for fall nights. I first saw this scarf on Blair (pictured above) and knew I had to get it. Although it’s not yet available online, head into your local Zara store for purchase.
Next on the list is the always classic fedora. This beauty from Target is under $20 and can instantly dress up and outfit, or fix a bad hair day.
Last but not least comes from one of my favorite Makeup brands, MAC. Hang-up is a gorgeous rich color that can make any outfit pop. This color comes in a cream sheen so it glides on smoothly and lasts all day. This will most likely be my lipstick for fall, so I might as well stack up on it asap!
I hope that you have enjoyed my must have article for the fall. As you can see, I love red(ish), what’s your color of choice?
