I have recently become a lover of wearing bright colors and stripes. It’s not that I never liked these two combinations, I just never would have worn them together. I’m not sure if it’s maturity, marriage, or just absolutely loving every inch of the skin that I’m in, but I no longer worry about appeasing other people’s standards of beauty, only my own. The late Oscar De La Renta said it best, “Fashion is a trend, style is within a person.”
